Yrs 6 & 7 - Never ending story

COOROIBIE!

It all starts in the middle of Queensland with a family of four. Tess is twelve, John is fifteen, turning sixteen in October. Anna is the mum of the family, and Tom is the dad.

John once was digging a hole for a tree on Anna's birthday. Suddenly he hit something solid. ''Must be just some rock'' John mumbled.
So John hit the solid something with the head of the shovel.
But it wasn't rock. ''A chest!'' yelled John. John raced inside to tell Tess.

Right in front of Tess's door, John slipped on Tess's homework. All John was left with was a HUGE carpet burn on his right arm! ''Ow!'' cried John as he tried picked himself up.
Tess ordered John to quickly pick himself up. John said he was trying but his arm was hurting too much.


Later on, Tess and John poked their heads inside the hole. Tess thought that maybe they should take the chest out and have a look at what was inside.

So John took the chest out, but when they opened the box, something very strange happened. The sky went black and dark storm clouds formed. When John touched the chest to close it he disappeared!

Tess was frantically looking for John so she raced inside to ask Anna and Tom to help her look for her lost brother. The thing ...
